Though it might not sound like the most pleasant hobby in the world, Big Sixes have somehow managed to make a rather unsettling concept into a song that suddenly I don’t seem to be able to live without.
The plodding rhythm become hypnotic worryingly quickly and it won’t take long at all before you start questioning whether or not you should actually go out and find a few flies for supper. Of course you shouldn’t, you’re probably not quite that stupid. Though you do read this nonsense…
Oh right, the review.
Being a slow-paced tune means that every little click matters that bit more and each extra drop of emotion that floods into the vocals becomes much more influential on capturing your heart than you might first think. This song will raise plenty of questions in your mind yet that level of intrigue is exactly what music should be about and if, like me, you’re a curious kind of person then I’m surely you’ll find yourself being drawn in like Alice into one of those glass things you look into.
This is pretty darn addictive, just one more slice…
