Let’s all go down to the indie disco to find what new kind of fun we can dance about to today, shall we? Oh look, there’s some fresh UV-TV pumping out the speakers. That ought to do nicely.
The Florida-formed trio have done a cracking job with creating a hazy indie gem that’s full of enough excitement to give a crocodile a fairly substantial cause for alarm. Filled with those ‘60s inspired surf-style guitars, this is very much music for a good mood and throwing back to heady days of not giving a care and everything being right with the world.
Were those days ever truly real? Nobody can say for sure. But I’ve got a good feeling that they might be just around the corner. Please. We need them to come back.
