After another few days on being away from technology in all internet-based forms (besides from the occasional use of mobile internet to check for important emails/football results) I’m once again leaving you in the more then capable hands of the Rormix team to guide you through this Tuesday morning. Download Rormix, it’s worth it. I don’t get paid for this, I genuinely think it’s good! Anyway, here are your picks for this week;
Late 2011 saw the release of the darker, mostly instrumental Horror Tour EP around the band’s fall tour of Eastern Europe; Record Store Day 2012 brought a limited edition LP Mazes Remixed which featured remixes by the likes of Sonic Boom, Psychic Ills, and Purling Hiss. Now Moon Duo are set to release Circles, their second full-length LP with Souterrain Transmissions. The band will also set off on a worldwide tour in support of the album in October and November.

Zola Jesus – Fall Back
In the last three years, Nika Roza Danilova has gone from being an outsider, experimental, teenage noise-maker to a fully-fledged, internationally-celebrated, electronic-pop musician. She has emerged as a figurehead — a self-produced, self-designed, self-taught independent woman.
We’re really excited to feature her video ‘Fall Back’, which was the first single from her album ‘Versions’ to be transformed into a video. Allie Avatal directed the intense, black and white video, which features Nika surrounded by stone structures and desolated woods with fire and water flowing around her.
