It feels like the summer has come early and as you lounge out on a California beach with Dinosaur Parade it’ll feel like Jack Johnson himself has been commissioned to provide you with the perfect soundtrack to a day where you’ve no need for any stress, just let the sun do all the work.
As the waves lollop onto the beach, the groovetacular drums and ‘I Want Candy‘ rhythmed guitars will get you in the party mood as you’re subjected to tales of similar days out in the California sun from our optimistic story-teller. The vocal harmonies rush over you as if you’ve been taken straight to that familiar refrain from ‘Walk On The Wild Side‘. Actually, it feels a little like George Michael’s greatest ever creation (outside of Wham!, obviously), yet there’s a whole lot more innocence reserved for this particular outing and, at the end of the day, this is just a pure soundtrack for a pleasant day out at the beach.
