Philco Fiction – June 17

Screen shot 2015-06-19 at 21.01.10Though I may be a few days late to conveniently get this to coincide with the title (in my defence, I only received/read it on June 19th!) there’s no denying that this latest offering from Philco Fiction is a real treat for you to enjoy all year round.

The Norwegian duo go about their work with very little fuss, there’s no great pomp and they don’t even seem to particularly bask in the fact that they’re written a pop song that has the potential to do absolutely anything it wants to. You can have no illusions, this is a real joy to listen to and the mellow feeling that goes with it will motivate you to go about your daily business in the very best way you can imagine. It manages to instil a confidence inside you that had previously lain dormant, waiting for an intensely pleasing voice to awaken it while backed by an aural masterpiece that’ll draw the deepest of feelings out from your core and into the open for everyone to see.

If you’ve got skeletons in your closet I’d lock them away now, otherwise there’s no knowing what might happen.
