It’s rare for me to make my mind up about a song quite so quickly as this yet if Oberhofer isn’t a name on everyone’s lips by the end of the year then there has been a major criminal injustice as this is exactly the sort of music that should be rocketing to the moon before you can say ‘BANG, ZOOM!’.
You’ll feel as though you’re blasting away at the speed of light as this rampaging indie belter fries your ears and leaves you pining for more and more until you’ve eaten far too much aural goodness. The guitars are set up so perfectly in support of a lead vocal that deserves to be praised to the high heavens, there’s not a single word delivered with anything other than utter conviction and the talent seems to flow naturally throughout the whole band. This fella has got one hell of a bright future ahead of him for sure, I’ve not come across someone who has wowed me quite so much as this in a very long time indeed.
