George Cosby – Vacant Grace

George Cosby‘s voice is one of the finest things you’re going to hear this year. As soft and smooth as a velvet rope, he lets each word linger on as to draw every last drop of emotion from it which will leave you a shivering wreck, crying in the corner because you can’t quite comprehend how beautiful what you’ve just listened to was.

He has such a gentle touch to his approach, not a million miles away from the styles of Messrs Buckley and Clementine, and you can feel the connection between the man and the music as though it were a truly unbreakable bond. There’s something so genuine about the delivery of every last word and you feel as though you’re witnessing a man truly opening up about himself and the stories he has to tell. There’s no need for any pretentiousness when you’re as good at doing the basics as this and I defy you to find someone who has a delivery style so pure that it’ll captivate you quite as much as this will.

You’re in for a real treat and I couldn’t be happier to have had this gem cross my path. Sincerely.
