How often have you thought you’d like to have a track on an EP which was recorded on a beach surrounded by groups of happy-go-lucky revellers? Finally someone has actually stepped up to the plate and done just that – cheers LANU.
The master of electronic beauties returns with a blissed out new single with the delightful vocals of Melanie Pain doing his latest tune justice. It’s far too easy to get wrapped up in these sounds which are the polar opposite of intense – you could probably end up needing to call a doctor because all of your muscles have stopped working if you give this a good old binge. Along with the aforementioned beach version (seriously, why aren’t there more songs recorded on beaches? I get the difficulty of doing it but it just sounds SO COOL!!!) is a tidy remix from Natural Double which is actually just LANU (or Lance Ferguson to his family) teaming up with Melbourne producer John Castle to produce an even slicker version of the track which is just as pleasantly relaxing.
Sure, it might be bloody freezing outside but stick this on along with a pair of your finest sunglasses, whack the heating up and you can pretend that global warming has done us one long summer favour.
