Better known to her family as Emily Undersell, this is clearly someone who knows how to make emotional, heart-wrenching music at the drop of a hat. The sheer expertise shown by Tusks here in creating soundscapes that are simply works of art is a real joy to behold. You’re never left with the feeling that any of this is forced – each small touch feels so genuine that you’re immediately pulled into the track by two firm hands saying ‘listen, you’re going to want to hear this right away’. It’s cinematic music at a peak, a swelling of warm, authentic sounds that’ll keep your body in a state of temporary shock while listening as you just won’t be able to do anything else at all.
Simply put, this is gorgeous and is making me a little bit weepy. Now go away, I’ve got something in my eye.
