Shut up. Shut Up! I SAID SHUT UP!!! Make absolutely no noise whatsoever because Tel-Aviv quartet Document are making music and it’s far more interesting than anything you could possibly have to say about your new hat or old dog or whatever it is you were talking about.
Guitar riffs are on fire, vocals are caught up in a whirling dervish of joy and the whole damn sound is so perfectly post-punk that I might have accidentally just let out a little bit of wee. In case you couldn’t tell, this track has got me more excited than a hedgehog who has just found out she’ll be this year’s Autumn Queen and, you know what, she earned it. Christ, I feel like I’ve got my hands on a lovely big balloon which is lifting me away from the noise to clearer skies where everything sounds angelic – that is, angels with guitars with a whole lot of distortion on them and a band who are absolutely nailing it with every beat. But you got that, right?
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, this is stormingly good and you need to be getting in on the action ASAP. Do it, do it now!
