Oh this is great. No need for me to mess about with any of the usual nonsense up front, girlhouse is fantastic and you should be ashamed of yourself for not having already listened to this.
The US bedroom pop artist (so I’m told) has a real knack for giving that disinterested, inherently cool tone in her voice that lets you know this is someone confident in their truly excellent abilities behind the pop shield. That music is pretty hard to resist too, with just the right amount of pop so that you’re never too gassy but you’ve still had enough sweetness to smooth your sugar urges.
I’d like to be a pretty girl in LA in many ways. Mostly, the weather would be much better than London. But I’m sure there are benefits to being pretty too. Oh, you think I am already? Too kind…
