Disraeli Gears – Born and Bred

Screen shot 2015-03-16 at 10.46.27With one of the tastiest little guitar licks of the decade so far, this brand new offering from Disraeli Gears is a beautifully constructed piece of music that flirts its way into your heart and takes you on a phenomenal aural journey that can only result in the most satisfying of conclusions.

Having such an independent vocalist at the helm is a key asset for any band and it seems as though these guys seem to have struck gold, there are even some ace backing vocals worth keeping an ear out for. There’s a Jeff Buckley-esque charm to the whole thing as it maintains a level of mystery, taunting you with the virtue of intrigue and leaving you with a longing for more. With wonderful guitar play, a restrained rhythm section and a hum of sheer musical perfection running as the undercurrent, it appears that they’ve left no stone unturned in the creation of this magnificent piece of music.

Everyone plays a vital role in the sheer effectiveness of this song and there’s not a weak link to be found, making it the perfect track to get stuck in your head, no matter the time or place.
