Peluché – Sin

Screen shot 2015-03-20 at 11.54.05I do like something with a bit of a jazzy tint to it, it makes the fact that I’m sitting here smoking a cigar, sipping at a fine whiskey and wearing sunglasses with a suit seem that little more acceptable. I’m lying, of course, but not about the soulful nature of this smooth-as-you-like offering from Peluché as it really is the bees knees. Daddy-o.

You don’t often hear a clarinet taking such a prominent role within a song but here it works so brilliantly as it transports you away from the monotonous world of the same old sounds that even the most independent and alternative of musicians tend to fall back upon. The clarinet is joined by a memorable selection of vocals refrains as the all-female outfit blow you away with their old-school approach that somehow manages to feel like it’s ahead of its time.

Whether or not you’re living in sin, which we probably all are, there’s no harm in getting this beauty in your ears and floating away on the effortless grooves.
