On a morning that began with me being quite literally blown off my feet as I walked to work (looks like the diet is going well!) it’s a pleasure to have the folks at Rormix with their feet on the ground, keeping me from floating away on a vicious breeze. So whatever you’re doing, take a little slice out of your day to have a listen to this week’s picks by clicking on the images below – you won’t be sorry;
Dream Lake – World Of Dreams
Dream Lake is the Swedish dream pop duo comprised of the professional dancer and lead vocalist Isabella Svärdstam and multi-instrumentalist and music producer Niklas Willar Lidholm. Formed in 2011, they started to write music together and experimented with different sounds after meeting in high school. An essential listen for anyone who loves nostalgic dream-pop.

Made Violent – Inside Out
A year ago indie three-piece Made Violent secluded themselves in a cabin to make music. The result is bloody brilliant. Last month the band released their debut EP as well as making their first appearance at SXSW. Not bad for a band barely into their second year…
