Sorcha Richardson – Petrol Station

Screen shot 2015-05-20 at 08.54.06Prepare yourself for an adventure into the heart of technology as electronic pulses brush past your shoulder while you immerse yourself in these sounds from Sorcha Richardson.

There’s plenty of space for you to wander in and explore this wonderfully modern atmosphere, Richardson’s voice guiding you through the information streams to ensure that by the time you return to reality you’ll never need to question anything again. In essence it’s a rather simplistic offering yet the semi-minimalist approach taken sees the song enter a sonic realm that soothes your brain as if it were receiving the highest quality massage. It’s one of those pop tunes that has something loveable about it as the Irish songstress appears to have put some real time into crafting music that can appeal to a wider audience while adding a level of attention to detail that’ll be sure to please the more pedantic music fans out there. Whoever they might be.

If you’ve got nothing planned for tonight, you’re coming over to my house. I’ve made paella.
