Banging straight into your ear drum as if it had just completed a jump forward in time from the ’80s, this latest outing from Oslo Parks sees the Brighton-based pair once more put on an aural show worthy of any grand circus affair.
Swirling around your mind like a tornado filled with sine waves, this spellbinding outing sees the pair conjure up a pure slice of indie pop that’ll have you wiggling and jiggling until your bones can take it no more. If you’re a fan of the lighter side of indie this should be right up your street and the cracking orchestration the pair use to maximise the aural spectrum means that there’s not even the slightest hint of emptiness to be found. This is about as full as the fat level of cream that Eric Pickles likes to cover himself in when he’s celebrating a particularly good day at the office*. Grim imagery indeed yet if you accompany it with this belter as the soundtrack it becomes significantly more bearable.
Sorry Mr Pickles, that was a cheap blow. Still, I bet if got you thinking. Right? I don’t know what I’m doing any more…
*This is obviously a lie/terrible joke. Please don’t sue, I have nothing. NOTHING!
