Sometimes you’ll come across a selection of sounds that leave you feeling somewhat bemused yet as though your life has benefited significantly from letting them into your ears. That’s exactly how I felt the first time I ventured into the world of The Classical as their latest offering is a beguiling piece of… Well, I just don’t know what it is to be honest.
A saccharine voice leads the line while your brain becomes transfixed on the bizarre aural soundscape you quickly find yourself surrounded by and, as the world descends into chaos, you’ll have to cling on to any last memories you have of reality before they become lost far away in the distant corners of your brain. This isn’t exactly your average pop song, it takes you down all sorts of twisting, turning roads until everything that you once knew is nothing more than a faded recollection. Why bother making sense of the world when you can be as creative as this?
So, to answer your non-existent question, no. I have absolutely no idea what’s going on here. But I ruddy love it.
