There seems to be something irresistible about using the name Daisy to promote your own brand of exquisite, ethereal music. WCT favourite Daisy Victoria aside, this is the second track from Daisy And The Dark that I’ve utterly fallen head over heels for as the Kate Bush influence reigns supreme and gets my toes tingling.
That’s something normal people say, right?
The delicate vocals that ever-so-gently grace your ears are so astounding that I could sit for hours and listen on as I’m subjected to them simply singing the dictionary. I mean, she could even be singing Nicki Minaj’s ‘Stupid Hoe‘ and I just plain wouldn’t care about the lyrics because the way they’re presented is just so perfect. This isn’t to say that the rest of the band is lacking by any means, in fact the cascading drums are an absolute work of art that provide plenty of aural thrills and spills to keep your head spinning through this wonderful new dream state. Everything blends together so beautifully that you’ll find yourself being swept off your feet and transported to another world in these five glorious minutes.
Let me count the ways I love thee…
