I’ve never been one to hide the fact that I think Scandinavians are currently making some of the very best pop music in the world and, despite my atheistic leanings, there’s absolutely no way I could resist filling my ears with these sounds from Bror Forsgren as this is exactly the sort of pop music we should be encouraging future generations to make.
There’s not an inch of pretentiousness to be heard and all that you’re left with after the song comes to an end is a warm fuzzy feeling inside, akin to that of finding a long lost teddy bear and hugging it tight to squeeze out all the glorious memories. Who says that music has to be dark, gloomy, angsty or anything other than good clean fun? It’s so rare to come across something quite as positive as this and, as it flows through your veins, you’ll realise that the sun is finally shining outside and that we’re on the verge of something rather spectacular indeed.
No, I haven’t been on the drugs – why do you ask? Honestly, this is just going to make you feel very happy indeed.
