Sometimes the very best thing you can do in life is throw your hair out into the breeze and let the wind take you whichever way it so pleases. This probably isn’t a great idea of you work near busy roads, trains or particularly rambunctious animals, however, as an attitude it’ll probably serve you right and could even wind up with you delving into the world of Inspired & The Sleep.
No, I don’t know what I’m talking about either.
These guys have got something pretty special as they’re able to master both sparse and jam-packed textures simultaneously, their choice of instrumentation is unlike anything I’ve ever heard before – mostly in very positive ways – and they seem to be taking plenty of risks while sticking to a tried and tested structural pattern. THe track feels a bit like an aural contradiction and it’ll raise far more questions than it could ever answer. Still, sometimes you’ve just got to go with the flow and, if you relax your shoulders and lean back, you might just enjoy this washing over you.
