Ruddy hell, I love PINS. They’re making some absolutely blinding music and I’m still yet to hear anything from them that has done anything other than impress me.
With their cavalier attitude and more swagger than a room filled with Messrs Morrissey, Marr, Doherty, Weller and the like, this bunch of aural bandits are as cool as you like and they seem to be able to make even the simplest things sound like they were crafted in the furnaces of musical genius (come one, we all know they exist, right?). This track manages to keep all the rhythmic swing of the ’60s flowing through it with added splashes of ’80s punk and ’90s grunge to truly make it a timeless beauty. Why would you want to treat your ears to anything but the very best? Listening to anything else after this would be like scoffing a happy meal after you’ve just eaten a luxury seven-course dinner. And that chaos at the end? Absolutely blinding.
There’s very little that’ll get my ears quite as excited as these marvellous music-makers, this is an absolute corker. The video’s not too shabby either, give it a look below.
