Shambolics – Love Collides

fb_img_1487824767742Fife lads Shambolics have churned out a right corker in new track ‘Love Collides‘ – a frenetic concoction of sweeping psychedelica and dreamy rock ‘n’ roll that’ll have you pouring a Jack Daniel’s and getting your arse down a This Feeling club night in no time.

They’re a quartet very much stamping their mark as an emerging band to watch and this track is their most promising offering yet. ‘Love Collides‘ boasts a lead riff Johnny Marr would be damn proud of. Jaunting in and out of the mix, weaving around its a simple but very much effective piece of guitar work. Especially when coupled with the layered textures and vocal assurance on display here.

Shambolics possess the ability to change pace effortlessly, switching from snappy rock ‘n’ roll to dreamy lulls of subtle evocative riffs in seconds. Keeping you on your toes but never losing momentum, thus maintainting the swagger that makes them irresistible as hit makers. You can hear neat touches of many of their influences throughout, each coupled together to make a quite simply brilliant rock ‘n’ roll anthem.

On this evidence it really wouldn’t be suprise to see these lot blow up. They’re purely belter.
