Time to chill out, put your feet up, grab a fake newspaper and pretend you’re busy for the evening so that you can actually just be sat at home with the curtains closed and the soothing sounds of Coastal Clouds filling your room. This dreamy offering of indie goodness is just what you need after a stressful day, none of that ‘beer’ I’ve been hearing so much about.
This beauty is set to push all your nerves right back down to where they belong as the wishy-washy sounds make sure nothing in this world is remotely harsh any more. Everything is soft to the touch like a cushion, cloud or that sheep that one time that was just plain fluffier than any sheep should ever be. This is more mellow than yellow, more refreshing than an ice cool beverage and more addictive than this ‘beer’ that I’ve begun to become somewhat fond of. From the welcoming vocals through the strings that don’t ever feel threatening or intrusive and all the way back to the reliable work behind the kit, everything here is just plain tickity-boo and will keep you feeling juuuuuuuuust right.
Ohhhhh this is some smooth stuff. More of this sort of thing, please.
