Get your spacesuit on, we’re off on a cosmic adventure with Danish indie wizard Masasolo. The vibes on this double A-side are truly out of this world and are sure to be some of the dreamiest indie sounds you’ll hear all year.
While the vocals come across as approachable the guitars feel like they’re not listening to a word you say, instead they’re merely lost in a daydream and have no intention of returning to reality any time soon. ‘Idaho‘ is so blissed out you’d be forgiven it’s Santana joining forces with the caterpillar from Alice In Wonderland – the guitar solo is a lovely moment but ultimately it’s the way that the whole song that comes together that makes it such a treat for the ears. ‘And To Know This‘ seems to have a bit more direction and drive to it but you’re still clearly tuned in to somebody whose head is lost among the stars and has no intention of every truly coming back down to Earth.
These stunning tracks are a great way to just escape from the real world for a few minutes and dream of a life that’s just a little more… Cosmic.
