FEVER DAYS – Hey

Screen Shot 2018-04-06 at 07.04.19Bedroom-made indie at its very finest, FEVER DAYS returns with a sophomore single equally as addictive as debut offering ‘Bored‘. If you’re into your mid-’00s indie you simply cannot afford to not get on this hype train because this is what you’ve been crying out for through the deluge of pop-fuelled ‘indie’ kids who only care about their hair and they way they pout.

This is taking that sweetest of music back to where it came from, a tiny room in Newcastle, and whacking all the levels right up so that the neighbours will start considering a formal complaint. It’s rougher and tougher, meaner not cleaner and equipped with enough sheer energy to keep your smartphone running for at least another hundred or so selfies, if you’re that way inclined. With a siren-esque synth blaring out over a sweaty mess of raging guitars, you’ll do well to escape spending the rest of the day whistling along to that dangerously infectious riff.

Why on earth would you want to be all pristine and polished when you can sound like you’ve got a gripe with the world? Where’s the fun in that? FEVER DAYS is our artist of 2018 and we’ll be rigidly sticking by that all year.
