Sometimes you don’t need all those bells and whistles in a track to capture your attention. Every now and again something special sidles on up to you as if to ask ‘Is this seat taken?’ before sparking up a musical conversation that flows so naturally you inevitably miss your stop and end up stuck in Greenford. Again.
That’s the effect this latest Meggie Brown tickler has, edging in slowly, teasing before giving you a blast of something a bit more meaty while having a devilish look in its eye. I know, that doesn’t sound right but get your mind out of the gutter. This sits so low on the ear you’ll feel your head being pulled ever closer to your knees but you’ll be far too distracted by the killer vibes that you’ll fail to notice and end up managing to poke your own eye with your knee in some kind of bizarre slapstick manoeuvre. Never mind, at least you had a good tune on at the time.
And I’m sure the maths isn’t really the most important thing here but…
