The Pale White – End Of Time

Screen Shot 2018-11-05 at 07.07.02After the first few beats that feel like they’ve been picked up from the cutting room floor from that debut Arctic Monkeys album, The Pale White take their latest single and absolutely run with it until they’re being celebrated with banners, balloons and I’m pretty sure I saw someone hanging around with a piñata.

The second single from their newly released Take Me To The Strange EP, ‘End Of Time‘ is perhaps the Newcastle-based bands best offering to date – catchy enough to pick up radio plaudits while still being full of that heady haze those of us with an unattended guitar addiction crave desperately and long to hear endlessly. There’s a proper slice of old school rock music in the verses while the choruses have a stunning indie shimmer to them that won’t come off no matter how many times you take it out into the muddy fields around the back of that pub with the great pies.

If this was playing when you walked into a bar, you’d know you were in safe hands and that the chances of getting a dodgy pint were slim to none. Please sir, may I have some more?
