Anyone else watch the Matt Berry series Toast Of London? If you have, the intro to this latest track from The Flavians is going to sound mighty familiar to Berry’s Take My Hand which acts as the show’s theme tune.
The rest of the track takes a deep dive into the world of expansive indie pop and the Berlin-based band are back on top form, with their past track Non-Stop Fun (All I Wanted) still one of my personal favourites in recent years. Expect nice little diversions from the regular garden path as they stroll through deep aural woodlands filled with all kinds of pleasant surprises.
Truly, it doesn’t get much better than this.
