Nick Leng – Fine Little Rhythm

I don’t know quite what it is that draws me to Nick Leng but I can’t help but find his music hard to resist, even when it’s so early in the day the sun is still napping away in a heatproof hammock.

The sounds – particularly in verses – are just lighter than air and it feels like the perfect soundtrack to a lazy afternoon, in a considerably smaller hammock than the sun. Even when the tempo rises you can’t help but feel like this is relaxing and made for those days when all you want to do is bask in the warmth of a well-rested sun who is absolutely bringing his A-game. That sun is certainly doing his job today.

It’s that kind of song that makes it impossible to feel down, you’ll have at least one foot tapping by the end of the first few lines and you’d have to be made of stone to not be dancing around like a loon by the end of this one.
